Automatic Driveway Gates

Our driveway gates are designed specifically for the application of a high-quality system and will ensure trouble-free operation for years as well as minimize the need for future maintenance and repairs.

The first step in the construction of your gate is selecting materials of the highest quality. Over the years, we have developed best practices and very reliable component sourcing. As an example of a best practice, we build oversized posts for swing gates: these posts will keep the new gates plumb and prevent damaging sway while the system is in motion.

All our automated gates are built with sealed adjustable ball-bearing hinges or, for rolling gates, machined wheels with sealed ball bearings instead of the common cast wheels with roller bearing. 

We cannot stress enough how critical these components are in the creation of a opening and closing system that will provide years of trouble-free service.  In fact, because these elements are so crucial for the successful long-term operation of an automatic gate, we will not automate a gate that was not built and installed by Affordable Fence and Gates.

Sometimes due to budgeting or other construction concerns, a homeowner may opt to delay the purchase and installation of the operating system.  When this occurs, the initial order will specify the gate to be built to the standards required for the addition of an automated operator. In this way, our customer can easily place an order for the electronic system to be installed at a time that is more convenient.

All automatic driveway gates installed by Affordable Fence and Gates  come standard with a solar operating system that includes safety beam detection, 5-watt solar panel, wireless keypad on post mount, and 5 key fob remotes.
